Natural Satellite is an independent record label based out of Monterey, CA. founded in 2013.
Certain Futures spells out a song for our time that picks up where the Bowie/Eno legacy left off with instructions & cryptic blueprints that point toward epiphanies yet to be realized. Under the creative auspices of Bayhan’s creative knack for arrangements & productions, a song about jeopardized and/or extinguished flames are rekindled with bright chords & keys that correspond with one another in a seamless showcase of shimmering & smoldering sentiments. Michael & Meghan’s duet moves between harmonies that blend, call & respond to one another as highs & lows are reflected upon in meditations that seek some sort of shared solace amid the upheavals & upsets dealt by a card deck called life.

Lillie Lemon and Erica Wobbles are an indie electro pop duo based in Monterey, California. Their instrumentation utilizes primarily synthesizers, with live vocal looping and processing. Songs are fueled by building crescendos and a unique hybrid of acoustic and electric sounds.
Lillie Lemon hails from the great Midwest, the land of long winters and short summers. Her songwriting is heavily influenced by the flux of the seasons, often substantial in lyrical content and dense in sound. She is personable and bright both on and off the stage, and gives listeners a sense of sharing in a unique and poignant musical experience.
Producer and musician Erica Wobbles is nicknamed after the characteristic bass drop 'wobble' in electronic and dubstep music. Erica is known for his electronic influences and wide variety of keys-related instrumentation. Partnering with Erica has led their music down a path both experimental and wildly gratifying.
Otherwise known under the solo handle of Monsterlips—Kristen’s piano tones & beautiful earthbound vocals paint portraits of the intrinsic connection between all things where the entire world is embodied together as one being of love. All this & more is heard resonating with realness in the chorus lines of, “We really mean it when we say this, we are one or more, we really mean it when we say this, we are love…” The reiterations of because we are love & we are everything further emphasizes the connection that people have both to one another, their environments & worlds where the everything from our entire blue dot & other corresponding planets & galaxies suddenly feel a little bit closer.

Dwelling along the edges of the western pacific shorelines is California-born synth pop artist Jimmy Turturici. Based out of the peninsulas that connect the Monterey and the Bay Area — the prolific Pacific Coast artist has curated a vast oeuvre of a career as a singer-songwriter, producer, studio musician and more while operating the independent record label Natural Satellite.
Renowned for a distinct signature of layered synth melodies, Turturici’s catalogue works to create a cinema for the ear style guided by hauntingly familiar vocal breezes. Utilizing an avant-garde approach to synth pop, his first collection of early compositions was released in 2005 on the compilation Kindergarten Resources, shortly before working in collaboration with Johnny Aulenta in the Americana psych-dream act The Slowest Ride. It was here where Jimmy entertained his inner song composer and tunesmith chops, while nurturing his own expanding styles of future folk in hand with a continued survey of synthesizer heavy solo material on the side.
In 2007 he composed music for an independent film titled The Monarch of Evening Timebefore creating the comedic electro pop album Activate Lasersin 2011, again with longtime collaborator Johnny Aulenta, in a band called Hot Dogs In The Sun. In 2010 Jimmy would release his solo release Wires for Rootsin 2010. It would be the 2013 EP titled Natural Satellitethat would lead to the eponymous imprint establishment of the same name. Gaining new resources, instruments, gear and equipment for further developing new sounds — Jimmy’s single “Dancing By the Radio” debuted in 2014 on the label Noumenal Loom label’s expansive and lauded Compilation 1release, succeeded by the second solo album Lost Encoded Memoriesin 2015 that featured post-cyber reality fantasias. This opened the gates of increased experimentation and audio texture explorations as Jimmy created two unique pieces space pop odysseys with 2015’s Alien Garden, followed shortly after by Celestial Tabernacle(2016). On both pieces of work, Jimmy worked alongside the masterful talents of Ben Herod bringing a warm brass touch with both tenor and baritone sax.
Jimmy Turturici is currently working on a new full length body of work that promises to transport you to an alternate past set deep in the recesses of future galaxies (tentatively slated for release later in 2018).
